<p>Carter Hutton filled in for Jay Rosehill on the Tuesday edition of Leafs Morning Take. After giving our initial thoughts on the surprising shootout loss to San Jose, we talked some trade deadline, too. Most specifically, Hutts gave the players’ perspective on this time of year. It can be an exciting time for some, and an anxiety ridden one for others.</p>
<p>Thanks to <a href="http://www.timhortons.ca/">Tim Hortons</a>, we offered up a thorough recap of the 3-2 shootout loss. For the most part, the Leafs looked lethargic and fatigued. It wasn’t pretty their best outing. That said, they’re still 5-0-1 in their last six games. Furthermore, they potted two power play goals, which is always a positive development. Meantime, Calle Jarnkrok made his season debut —playing primarily on the fourth line. On top of that, Timothy Liljegren made his return to Scotiabank Arena. And yes, he got a bit of a tribute during the first TV timeout! Any way you slice it, there’s no reason to dwell on this game. The Leafs will visit Vegas tomorrow night to kick off their three-game road trip.</p>
